Rude unprofessional manager

The SA in Randolph MA - I Asked if I could have them order me a pair of boots in my size they had on shelf and the c*** woman rudely told me that she doesn’t “special order” anything for anyone.. I had just been to the one in Taunton and they said they could but I figured I’d try the other store to see if they had in stock.. I wanted to punch her in the face but I just left and ordered the on BOOTS.COM For $33 less and free shipping!! Ya so I will NEVER go into another store of theirs again

I bought the new adidas shoes yesterday from the concord store since they are out of the business and all things on sale. however after I bought the shoes, here comes the issue. Since nobody at front desk told me all sales are final. I came in a day after because the shoes size is a little too small. and they don't have the right size of the shoes and refused me to return the shoes. it basically stuck with me and become useless since i am able to wear it. you suck sports authority!!!!! I wonder why so many of the store has been closed. horrible company!!!!!

Most of these liquidations are run by outside companies; They typically don't take ANYTHING back after sale as they have one task: Sell the march, get the cash and GTFO.

They did not send me an item and in turn I called to ask about it. The response I was given is "the process to do anything about this is gone". The mgt was fired first and they will not assist in the least. Essentially, they receive many calls about no items or missing items arriving or not arriving. They will do nothing about this and occurs often now that they are done, so to speak. You are rolling the dice if you order anything from them at this point. There is no recourse so; you mine as well go to the store. Good luck and I hope you don't get your money stolen like I did!

Sports Authority remains a ripoff even in bankruptcy

The reasons why Sports Authority failed as a business are oh so abundantly clear if you'd ever shopped there. With few exceptions (like maybe shoes) nothing was available in the store and if it was, the price was HIGH. On the odd chance something was on sale, it would be out of stock in the good size, color, etc. you want. Plus, they LOVE LOVE LOVE to sell everything at retail price. Who wants to pay retail? Retail is for suckers. Now in bankruptcy, they continue to gouge the people coming in thinking they're going to get a deal, but instead are met with the ubiquitous 10% to 30% off signs all over. Well as it turns out, the vast majority of their merchandise is only 10% off RETAIL, except for the odd lot/unsaleable stuff which is reduced 20% to 30%. We went into the Mt Prospect IL store and my brother said it best - it's insulting. 10% They think people are dumb enough to believe they're getting a bargain. I wanted a Wilson Evolution basketball, their final sale price was $59 + tax which is about $9 higher than I paid at ***'s for the ball but in a limited edition color which adds $5 - and ***'s ain't cheap. So that makes them $14 higher on that one example. They're missing the point of a bankruptcy liquidation sale. The store sucked before, it sucks now, and it will suck on the last day when they bolt the doors shut for good. Oh yeah people PLEASE USE THE GIFT CARDS! Don't let them steal the $98 million outstanding, which they plan to do.

Wow. You are a as *** as the people you are pandering to.

Do you know what happens when a retail chain goes out of business? They auction off their product to liquidation companies. Then those companies set the discount as they see fit. If you were *** enough to go into a sports authority on it first few days of liquidation and expect a deal, then I pitty you.

I hope you got the most out of venting your anger. Because the fool you have made yourself out to be, is what will exemplify you as a person.

My product broke just a little outside of 30 days but I thought no problem I paid for their insurance plan. When I took my product back to the Avon, CO store the managers basically said too bad! You could send it to the company that insured for Sports Authority and ask for a replacement. Naturally I was assured when I bought the product that they would honor and instore replacement if it broke. NOT SO! There is a reason they are going out of business. Don't be fooled as I was, just don't shop there at any price. And yes they had a replacement in stock at the sale price.

I never really liked shopping at Sports Authority

I called the store in Brentwood, Missouri and told the associate that I was checking to see if they had a Nike women's item in stock. After 5 minutes on "hold" I decided to get in my car and go to the store while still on "hold". When I walked into the store there were three associates at the cash registers with not one single customer in line. I glanced at the their business phone and saw one line flashing. Obviously it was me (still) on "hold". I asked for a store manager and showed the manager my phone which displayed my being on "hold" for almost 20 minutes. I asked him if this was acceptable and he stated that they must have been too busy at the register. No apology, nothing but excuses. I am very glad that Sports Authority is going out of business.

Sports Authority Advertisement Review

This company is advertising that everything is on sale at least 10% off. I took two shirts from an area claiming all attire is 20% off. At the register I was told that the shirts were part of the inventory that is excluded from the sale. WHAT!! These people can't read their own ads. Small wonder these false advertising idiots are going out of business. I suggest they learn to read. I recommend you ignore their false ads.

today i received a email from sports authority for 20% entire stock and free shipping with a 39.00 minimum i wanted a power lifting belt for 99 with the 20% discount came out to 79.00 when i went to check out it charged me the tax online witch was the original shipping cost 6.99 making the total purchase 86.00 what happened to the 20 percent discount and free shipping this morning i chated with a online custumer service and he said the price was 79.00. well i wont even buy a shoe lace from sports athority ,lieing ***

So, I ordered a North Face coat from Sports Authority. I waited two weeks, and the coat still did not ship out. FINALLY, it shipped out and I was actually relieved. That ended quickly, when after A MONTH AND A HALF I still had not received my coat!!! And you know, coats are kind of important in midwest winters! I called customer service literally over 15 times and got NO WHERE. They are just a bunch of people who have no clue what they are doing. They kept putting re-shipments in, but of course I still NEVER received my coat! So now, 2 months after I originally ordered my coat, I am left without a coat and without a refund! And now my coat is completely sold out in my size so I can no longer get it! Long story short, Sports Authority has the absolute WORST customer service I have ever dealt with. I spoke with a manager and best they could do is give me the 20% discount that the site is offering! NEVER ORDER FROM SPORTS AUTHORITY!!!!!!

On Cyber Monday I browsed Sportsauthority.com website and decided it was the best deal to buy my 3 kids bikes for Christmas. Before spending time picking out bikes, I went to the shipping policies page and made sure that they would be able to ship to Hawaii and according to polices it stated it can but there may be a shipping fee which I was fine with. I then spent an hour researching the different bikes and chose 3 diamondback brand bikes. I went to checkout of my cart and got a shipping restriction error. I then called customer service and the man I spoke with was completely unhelpful and basically spent an hour on the phone while he tried to place the same order on his end after I told him the shipping restriction error and just wanted to find out if could ship here. He was confident it would so after he couldn't place order he said it was just because one of the bikes wouldn't ship here but the other 2 would so I spent time finding another bike ti replace that one and then proceeded to checkout and got that error again. I finally spoke with a supervisor who said it was not the shipping but the website was having an error and I have should no problem the next day. I asked her to have someone reach me if it still wouldn't work and she said she would have a daytime staff call me in 24-48 hours. No one called and still couldn't checkout my cart the next day. I then sent a follow up email a few days later since no one called and got a generic reply that did nothing to hep my situation, I then called again and went through the same thing all over again being told it should have no problem shipping and of course I still couldnt get it to exit my cart so asked to speak to a manager and got then told it was just the diamond back brands that dont ship here and I should try a different brand.So I then spent time finding 3 differnt brands and got that error so called to ask is it just that bikes dont ship to hawaii at all, I just want a straight answer so I dont waste anymore time. They kept saying it does ship and maybe I should call my local store and order through them. So I then called my store and now the cyber sale has passed so no discount and the store charges $90 a bike. Bottom line is that I kept getting lead on that bikes can ship to hawaii when in fact they dont and it seems none of the staff there knows that and the website doesn't state that either. It has been very frustrating to lose hours of my time and miss the cyber sale window- I will avoid sports authority and make sure my friends here know that ordering to Hawaii is not an option. Very poor customer service resolution.

They accept the coupon they send me and they liyed to me about matching the prices, but they did not want to do after I drove all they way to store and even called the 1800 number .

The said the color did not match ,but everything looks the same . I said yes it is the same brand ,same UPC, same price. The only different is the color because they sold out of that color they won't match the price. Well I said ok her is my coupon and they said no the computer won't take the coupon , but it valid. I was just not happy at all. I said if my wife didn't get me the GIFT CARD from her I will not by anything from you .

The clerks at Sports Authority must be paid by how much they sell, because some of them will say anything to sell you something. I bought a soccer ball and was conned to buy the insurance. I specifically asked whether i have to keep the receipt for them to honor the insurance. I was repeatly and clearly told that all i need to do was to provide my phone number in case something happened to the ball and I needed to access the insurance for which she charged me $8. The ball went flat and i took it back. And, you guessed it, they did not honor the insurance and asked for the receipt. I walked out vowing never to go in there again and to buy my sports equipment online.

Worst online company, placed an order expecting it to be available. They charged my card then minutes later stated that the item was back ordered I immediately got on the phone to see how long it would be before the item is received the representative couldn't even find out that info for me . So I asked them to cancel the order and now there's no telling when my money will be back in my account.
